Tour Details
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Upon your arrival in Casablanca, your driver will meet you and take you to your hotel. Spend the day discovering the city, visiting the iconic Hassan II Mosque, which stands as one of the largest mosques in the world, and the Royal Palace. Take a stroll along the Corniche waterfront, and enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes
After breakfast, depart Casablanca and head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudaias, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean. After lunch, continue your journey to Meknes, an imperial city known for its grand gates and historical sites. Explore the medina and check into your hotel for the night.
Day 3: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
On this day, you will visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the beautifully preserved mosaics and learn about the city’s rich history. Afterward, continue to Fes, one of Morocco’s most enchanting cities. Explore the Fes el-Bali medina, a maze of narrow streets and alleyways, and visit landmarks such as the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Al-Qarawiyyin University.
Day 4: Fes – Midelt – Erfoud
After breakfast, depart Fes and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the town of Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture. Continue to Midelt, where you will enjoy lunch, and then proceed to Erfoud, a desert gateway town famous for its fossil and date production. Upon arrival in Erfoud, check into your hotel and relax for the evening.
Day 5: Erfoud – Merzouga – Desert
Early in the morning, head to Merzouga, the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, you will embark on a thrilling camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest sand dunes in Morocco. After riding through the desert and enjoying a stunning sunset, arrive at your desert camp. Spend the night in the camp, enjoying traditional Berber music and a delicious dinner under the stars.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga and continue your journey to Rissani, a town known for its lively markets and historical significance. From here, head to Todra Gorge, where you can marvel at the towering cliffs. Continue on to Dades Valley, known for its breathtaking views and unique rock formations. Check into your hotel for the night.
Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, depart Dades Valley and head towards Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah that has appeared in many films. Afterward, continue your journey over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco, to Marrakech. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and check into your hotel.
Day 8: Explore Marrakech
On your final day, explore the vibrant and historic city of Marrakech. Visit the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, the heart of the city, and stroll through the colorful souks of the medina. Visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch at one of the city’s many fine restaurants before your driver transfers you to the airport or your next destination, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through Morocco.
