Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Meet your driver at your hotel or the airport in Marrakech and begin your adventure through the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m), offering breathtaking panoramic views. Visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara, where you’ll explore the Taourirt Kasbah and, if interested, visit the renowned Atlas Film Studios.

After lunch, head towards the Dades Valley, passing through Skoura’s palm groves and the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual rose festival. Arrive at Boumalne Dades, where you’ll explore the Dades Gorges, known for their dramatic rock formations. Check in at your hotel, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in the heart of the valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, continue your journey towards the Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural sites, where towering canyon walls reach up to 300 meters. Take a walk through the gorge and enjoy the stunning scenery before heading towards Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops and local markets.

Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes, where your camel caravan awaits. Ride into the heart of the Sahara, marveling at the endless sea of golden sand. Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt

Day 4: Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through forests of cedar and oak. Stop at Azrou’s Cedar Forest, home to the famous Barbary macaques. You can take photos and even feed these friendly monkeys in their natural habitat.

Continue to Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine architecture and pristine surroundings. Take a short break to explore the city before heading to Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital.
