Tour Details
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier
Upon your arrival in Tangier, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred to your accommodation. Explore the city’s vibrant medina, visit the Cave of Hercules, and enjoy the view from the Kasbah. You’ll also have time to stroll along the Corniche and take in the Mediterranean atmosphere. Overnight in Tangier.
Day 2: Tangier to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, depart for Chefchaouen, the famous blue city in the Rif Mountains. Wander through the narrow streets lined with blue-painted buildings, visit the Kasbah, and enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains from the Spanish Mosque. Spend the night in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen to Fes
This morning, leave Chefchaouen and head to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart. After arriving, take a guided tour of Fes El-Bali, the old medina. Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the famous tanneries. Explore the maze of alleys in this UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Meknes & Volubilis
After breakfast, drive to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate, the Royal Stables, and the Meknes Medina. Continue to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city with well-preserved ruins, including temples and mosaics. Return to Fes for the night.
Day 5: Fes to Ifrane & Midelt
Leave Fes and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” for its Alpine-style architecture and parks. Continue to Midelt, a charming town in the mountains famous for its apple orchards. Enjoy a relaxed evening and overnight in Midelt.
Day 6: Midelt to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After breakfast, depart for Merzouga, passing through the scenic Ziz Valley and stopping in Erfoud, famous for its fossils. Upon reaching Merzouga, enjoy a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes for a stunning sunset. Spend the night at a desert camp, where you can enjoy traditional Berber music, dance, and star-gazing.
Day 7: Merzouga – Explore the Desert
Wake up early to experience the sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast at the desert camp, you can enjoy a range of activities such as sandboarding, visiting nomadic Berber families, or taking a 4×4 tour of the surrounding desert. Spend another night under the stars in the desert camp.
Day 8: Merzouga to Todra Gorge & Dades Valley
After breakfast, travel to the Todra Gorge, a beautiful canyon with towering cliffs. Hike through the gorge and enjoy the stunning landscapes. Continue to the Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and Kasbahs. Overnight in the Dades Valley, surrounded by the stunning mountain scenery.
Day 9: Dades Valley to Ouarzazate & Ait Benhaddou
Depart Dades Valley and drive to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its use in films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Film Studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 10: Ouarzazate to Marrakech via Tizi n’Tichka
After breakfast, drive across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most famous cities. Spend the evening exploring the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna Square, where you can enjoy street performances, food stalls, and lively markets. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 11: Marrakech – Explore the Medina
Spend the day exploring the bustling Medina of Marrakech. Visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, the historic Saadian Tombs, and the stunning Koutoubia Mosque. Wander through the colorful souks of the medina and enjoy lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant. In the evening, enjoy the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 12: Marrakech – Essaouira
After breakfast, depart Marrakech for the coastal city of Essaouira. Explore the Medina and the Ramparts, walk along the historic harbor, and enjoy a seafood lunch at one of the many local restaurants. Spend the afternoon at the beach or exploring local art galleries. Return to Marrakech in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 13: Marrakech to Rabat
This morning, depart Marrakech for Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Visit the impressive Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the charming Kasbah of the Oudaias. Stroll through the Medina and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this royal city. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 14: Rabat to Meknes
After breakfast, head to Meknes, another of Morocco’s imperial cities. Explore the historical sites, including Bab Mansour, Meknes Medina, and the Royal Stables. You can also visit the nearby ruins of Volubilis, an ancient Roman city. Overnight in Meknes.
Day 15: Meknes to Tangier
On your final day, return to Tangier for the last leg of your journey. Depending on your schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Your driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your 15-day adventure through Morocco.
