Day 1: Errachidia to Merzouga

After your arrival in Errachidia, you will be greeted by your driver, who will take you on an exciting 4×4 adventure towards Merzouga. En route, you will pass through the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and beautiful landscapes. Stop at several viewpoints for stunning photo opportunities of the valley and the surrounding desert.

Continuing the journey, you will arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Once in Merzouga, you will have some free time to explore the town. In the late afternoon, take a 4×4 excursion to the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will witness the incredible landscape of towering sand dunes stretching across the horizon. From here, board your camel for a short trek into the dunes, heading towards your desert camp.

At the desert camp, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by a chance to relax and stargaze under the clear desert sky. You’ll spend the night in a Berber-style camp, complete with comfortable bedding, giving you a true taste of desert life.

Day 2: Merzouga to Errachidia

Wake up early to experience the desert sunrise over the dunes. After a warm Berber breakfast, you will return to Merzouga on camelback, soaking in the peaceful ambiance of the desert as the day begins.

Once back in Merzouga, you will enjoy a visit to Khamlia Village, where you will be introduced to the Gnawa music, a rich cultural tradition with deep roots in the region. Enjoy a lively performance by the locals and learn about their customs and way of life.

Afterward, take a 4×4 ride back toward Errachidia, passing through scenic desert landscapes, and stopping at points of interest along the way. The journey will take you through the Rissani area, known for its ancient historical sites and local market. Upon reaching Errachidia, your tour will conclude, and you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your 2-day desert adventure.
