Day 1: Ouarzazate to Ait Benhaddou and Draa Valley

Upon departure from Ouarzazate, your first stop will be the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient fortified kasbahs. After a guided tour through this iconic site, where you’ll learn about its history and significance in film productions like Gladiator and Game of Thrones, you’ll continue your journey to the Draa Valley. Enjoy the scenic drive, passing through small villages, palm groves, and rivers, and stop for a traditional Moroccan lunch at a local guesthouse. Continue your drive, taking in the breathtaking landscapes of the valley, before arriving at your hotel or guesthouse in the Draa Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Draa Valley to Zagora and Tamegroute

After breakfast, head south towards Zagora, a small town famous for its palm groves and a strategic location along the ancient trade routes. You’ll explore the Ksar of Zagora, a fortified village with a rich history and stunning views over the surrounding desert. Here, you’ll also see the famous sign pointing to Timbuktu, highlighting the ancient caravan routes. Following this, continue to Tamegroute, known for its green-glazed pottery and the ancient library with rare manuscripts. You’ll have the chance to visit pottery workshops and learn about this centuries-old tradition. After lunch, head back to Ouarzazate for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ouarzazate to Tizi n’Tichka Pass and Marrakech

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers some of the most breathtaking views of Morocco’s mountain ranges. Enjoy the rugged beauty of the mountains, passing through small Berber villages nestled in the hills. Stop for photos and take in the panoramic views as you drive along winding roads. After descending from the mountains, you will enter the Haouz Plain, which leads to Marrakech. Once in Marrakech, check in to your hotel or riad. Day 4: Explore Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the cultural and historical sites of Marrakech. Continue to the Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture, with its lush gardens and intricate interiors.
