Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga

Your journey begins with an early departure from Fes, heading towards the Merzouga Desert. Along the way, stop in Ifrane, often referred to as “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture and beautiful parks. Continue to Azrou, a picturesque town surrounded by cedar forests, where you may spot the famous Barbary macaques. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, proceed towards Merzouga, passing through stunning landscapes and Berber villages. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will meet your camel guide for a memorable trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. As you ride across the golden sands, take in the breathtaking views and the serene beauty of the desert. Arrive at your desert camp in the late afternoon, where you will enjoy a traditional Berber dinner. Spend the evening stargazing and experiencing the tranquil atmosphere of the Sahara.

Day 2: Merzouga – Fes

Wake up early to catch the spectacular sunrise over the dunes, a magical sight that is worth the early rise. After breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga on camelback. Freshen up, and then begin your journey back to Fes, stopping along the way for lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, taking in the picturesque landscapes. Arrive back in Fes in the late evening, marking the end of your memorable desert adventure.
