Day 1: Ouarzazate to Merzouga (via Ait Benhaddou & Dades Valley)<\/strong><\/h3>\n
After breakfast in Ouarzazate<\/strong>, start your journey towards Merzouga<\/strong>. The first stop will be Ait Benhaddou<\/strong>, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its fortified kasbah. This stunning clay village has been featured in many films, such as Gladiator<\/em> and Game of Thrones<\/em>. Take time to explore the kasbah and its narrow streets, then continue your drive.<\/p>\n
Next, head towards the Dades Valley<\/strong>, a region known for its impressive rock formations and palm groves. Stop for lunch in one of the local towns, then continue to the Todra Gorge<\/strong>, a dramatic canyon with towering cliffs. You can take a short walk through the gorge or simply marvel at the natural beauty of the area.<\/p>\n
Arrive in Merzouga<\/strong> in the late afternoon. Here, you\u2019ll meet your camel guide for your camel trek<\/strong> into the Erg Chebbi dunes<\/strong>, the largest sand dunes in Morocco. Enjoy the magical experience of riding camels across the vast desert landscape while the sun sets over the dunes.<\/p>\n
