This 3 Days Desert Tour From Fes To Marrakech via Merzouga will start from your hotel/riad in Fes where our driver/ guide will pick you up then finish the way towards Merzouga passing by the most beautiful ton of Ifrane and a stop to see moneys in the cedar forest of Azrou and ziz valley. At the next days you will walk along the gorgeous Gorges of todgha and vist the famous Kasbah of ait ben haddou before drop you off at your riad/hotel in Marrakech.
Day 1 : Fez–Ifrane–Midelt –Erfoud–Merzouga–Erg Chebbi Dunes(Night in Desert Camp)
After breakfast, we will meet you at your riad in Fes and your driver will head south from Fes.Pass through Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco” and a popular ski resort, (right? A ski resort?), then on through the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas to visit with the barbary apes.As you head south you will see many nomad camps and get to learn about how the nomads move around and look for water.
Stop for a lunch break in Midelt and learn about the fossils there. Did you know the Sahara Desert was once at the bottom of the ocean?Passing through the stunning Ziz Valley with its broad sweeping valley filled with date palms, and onto Rissini you will end the day on a camel, trekking off to your desert camp for the night. Enjoy the sunset over the dunes and a fabulous dinner made for you in camp.
Day 2 : Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
Wake up for Sunrise lovely pictures, and Breakfast in open air, you will have breakfast in the camp, pack and go back either on camels or by 4x4 leaving the dunes behind. Back on the asphalt roads, we depart to Erfoud which is known by fossil’s making. Drive through palm-groves and Savanah like desert. We stop for lunch, then we take a short walk in Todra Gorges. We head to our stoping point Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 3 : Dades Gorges- Skoura – Ouarzazate- Ait Ben haddou Kasbah – Marrakech
On the last day of our 3 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech, we will cross the Valley of the Dades and the Valley of the Roses until arriving at Ouarzazate, where we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt.After about 25 km of the road, we will see the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared World Heritage by UNESCO famous for being the scenario of cinématographique blockbusters like the Oscar-winning “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Protective Sky” or “Babel”.We will follow the road through the Tizi N-Tichka Pass and the beautiful landscapes of the High Atlas mountains that will lead us to the “Red City”, Marrakech and here you can say goodbye to your driver guide the end of our 3 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech services.
