Day 1 : FES –
The driver for your 2 Day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga will pick you from your hotel at 8:00 am to transport you to the desert village of Merzouga via Azrou, the cedar forests, and Ziz Gorges.We continue to Azrou cedar forest, then Midelt and Errachidia . We pass amazing Ziz valley and we visit fossils in Erfoud . We explore local souk in Rissani before we reach Merzouga desert.We stop at Sahara desert hotel for a cup of tea . Then we prepare for a camel ride to Desert Merzouga camp crossing desert dunes of Erg Chebbi.You will enjoy desert sunset, Berber dinner will be served near the campfire and you experience Berber music of Nomads . We stay overnight in desert tents in Merzouga.
Day 2 : MERZOUGA CAMEL RIDE –
An early morning wake-up is recommended to assist sunrise from the top of the Chebbi sand dunes. Before your camel trek back to the departure point where you will meet your driver, you will take a shower and enjoy a Berber and delicious breakfast served by friendly Berber people at the Merzouga desert camp.After breakfast and shower in the camp, you will leave to Fes via the High Atlas mountains. On the way, we’ll pass through Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, and Midelt. A Date with a stop for lunch and pictures of wild monkeys on the Cedar forests of Azrou before arriving in Fes drop you off at your accommodation in Fez Hotel/Riad and end our 2 days desert Tour from Fes to Merzouga.
